No need to remove the old roof - just spike down some 2x4s and screw down the tin.  The 2x4s serve to level out the roof too, and this old roof needed a bit of leveling.

All done, looking good!

We also put in a new attic vent fan.

While in the attic, we noticed some graffiti left by campers over the years.
